After you complete the tutorial, you will be able to earn offline coins while you’re not playing the game. When you claim them, you’ll have a massive amount of upgrades available. Spend them all on attack power to essentially automate the next batch of levels instantly. You’ll blow right through your enemies.
Even if you upgrade your attack power, you will still have to upgrade the cloak in order to power up your skills. Upgrading your armor will enable you to take more hits without dying. Keep these upgraded at fairly even levels. Upgrade the lowest-level one first, so that you can get the most impact for the least amount of coins.
When you gain levels, you earn rune stones. These modify one of your pre-existing skills, adding an effect to them and sometimes increasing their statistics. If you want to get new skills, forge ahead until you beat the next boss. Often bosses themselves drop a new skill; you can then swap it in, in place of an old skill.
Items can be found in chests randomly. Before you equip an item, check its secondary skill to determine if it’s better than the one that you have already, or even if it has a secondary skill. If you don’t want it, you can sell it to earn a coin bonus. The higher the level of the item, the more coins that you get from the sale.
Complete quests to earn free gems. Gems are the premium currency of the game, and normally they cost real-life money, but rack up free gems by completing the quests. Go to the achievements menu to see what you have left to complete.
Nonstop Knight 2 is a new semi-idle RPG for the iOS and Android platforms that serves as the follow-up to the original Nonstop Knight some years back. Your goal in this game is to make it through dungeons and quests and manage your character as effectively as possible, upgrading his or her equipment and using their skills to get through battle without harm.
You can fight against swarms of standard enemies and bosses, and on your way you can earn coins, shards, and other goodies, while also upgrading your weapons and armor to be as strong as it can be.

In general, the battle will go on by itself, but one thing that you have control of in the battle is the use of each of your skills. You have three of them at a time, and most of them allow you to unleash special attacks, while some of them heal or buff your character when you activate them. Your three starter skills are all attacking skills.
Most skills have AoE damage, so use skills to clear out a whole row or group of enemies. The most useful skills also do passive damage for a period of time, such as burn or poison. Not only are these great to use against crowds, but against bosses, too. Bosses are susceptible because they’re large, therefore they are bigger targets for the passive damage area.
You pick up a ton of equipment as you go; some of it is useful, and some of it is not. Every time a green dot appears next to an equipment slot, that means that you have new equipment unlocked, but sometimes the equipment is weaker and/or has an inferior secondary trait to your current equipment. If you have no use for a piece of equipment, then sell it.
Selling equipment can earn you a small amount of coins, which doesn’t seem like a lot, but when you sell several pieces of equipment, you’ll end up racking up large quantities of gold in a short time. Save up that gold, and then use it towards upgrading your equipment, for huge statistical boost – literally, you can take a common/low-power piece of equipment and gain a lot of power with it just from one single upgrade.
Even though you can give a huge boost to common pieces of equipment, have some patience and keep grinding for some coins so that you can upgrade your rarer pieces of equipment. One reason for this, besides getting a larger boost per upgrade, is that rarer equipment often comes in sets. If you equip the entire set, you get a third type of major boost, as well.
When you finish fighting all of the standard battles and the boss battle is ready, your character will keep fighting until you hit the boss battle open. You won’t earn any extra rewards for waiting and letting your heroes defeat enemies, though; you’re better off fighting the boss as soon as possible so that you can earn your major rewards and move onto the next battle.
