Knight Squad Season 2
Feb 19, 2018 When each squad in knight school has to make a signature move to impress Sir Swayze and pass a test, Phoenix Squad has their moves under control. But when Sage steals their idea, the squad must stop them from doing it or come up with a new move before the presentation.
Good news – Nickelodeon has officially renewedKnight Squad for a second season. This comes after some fan-fave shows like Nicky, Ricky Dicky & Dawn and School of Rock were unfortunately canceled – so we’re all breathing huge sighs of relief. And fans weren’t the only ones who were anxiously awaiting the news. Leading lady Daniella Perkins opened up to J-14 about how the cast wasn’t even sure that they’d be coming back for another season until after Season 1 had already wrapped.
“We didn’t find out ’cause everyone was talking to us from other Nickelodeon shows, and they were like, ‘Oh we found out our show got picked up like the last week of filming.’ We didn’t find out, and we were like ‘Uhhh.’ Then, we found out a couple of weeks after we wrapped Season 1,” the 18-year-old actress shared. “So, I’m really, really happy we got a second season.”
Naturally, the cast took to social media to share the news when they found out.

Mega jump samp. While catching up with both Daniella and her co-star Owen Joyner at Nickelodeon’s SlimeFest 2018, they spilled to J-14 all about how it feels to get recognized by fans. You know, now that the show is taking off the way it is!
“I live in Oklahoma and California – but when I’m in California, there’s like a lot more people that recognize me. Not so much in Oklahoma,” the 18-year-old actor exclusively tells us.
Daniella chimes in, “I was in Hawaii and [these] whole three classrooms, like 60 kids – they were like, “Oh my gosh, it’s Knight Squad!” It’s so weird because like I’m not in LA. I was in Hawaii – I feel like that’s so far away! It’s just crazy to see people everywhere watch it.”
Other shows that got the official renewal word are Henry Danger for Season 5 (obvs), The Dude Perfect Show for Season 3, Hunter Street for Season 3, and Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles for Season 2. We can’t wait for all that’s in store!
